Default Differences between core 2 cpu's

Ok, why would somebody spend a $1000 bucks on a core 2 extreme 6800 over paying 300 bucks for a 6600?

The cache and fsb are the same.

An overclocked 600 is exactly the same as a stock e6800 right?

Now that i think about it. An e6800 probably runs cooler than an overclocked 6600 because the voltage would be lower right?

dosent the 6800 have an unlocked multi?

X6800 has an unlocked multiplier
E6600 has an adjustable multiplier, at 9x max.
