I found this image from Newegg describing the slots on the motherboard and such. Didn't realize there were two different kinds of graphic slot. What does these two mean?

PCIe x16, I know, but now there's a PCIe Graphics expansion slot???

I thought it may be for some kind of physics card or something, but I don't know. I never heard of that slot before: Graphics card expansion slot. Strange.

i think its made cuz its not meant for graphics card, like what corolla said and maybe a physx card, or something that required a lot of bandwidth

well if i remember correctly from a long time ago.. before the 680i's were out.. it was for 3rd graphics card use... only it'll render the physics.. or something like that...
