Difference between modular and non-modular psu's?

Hey, unfortunaltly my psu went on me today and i need to get a new one, i'v been looking about and come across one that aint bad, thing is it says its a non-modular one and its a good price.

Not the best with psu's so wondering what a non-modular psu is, and what the difference is between a non-modular and modular one.

The cabling, other than the 12v rail and 20/24 pin mainboard cables, are pluged in to the psu AND NOT FIXED TO IT.

ya i got a modular one and if looks count to you, get modular. There's wayyyy less wires to manage and usually they come sleeved
