Question Difference between 8800gts 320mb and 640mb

is there a big difference between the 8800gts 320mb and the 640mb. i know that i will need the extra ram if i am going to run higher resolutions, but other than that will i notice much of a difference. i'm just using a 19" widescreen 1440x900 monitor.

MacBook 2.2GHz Santa Rosa | 120GB HDD | 4GB ram

At that resolution, not really, at least for the games out now.. For some really demanding games you probably won't be able to set the AA/AF as high.

1440x900...get the 320mb. There is no actual proof of the extra memory making any difference at all until 1600x1200. Some games it doesn't even affect it until higher. Save yourself some money and go with the 320mb at that res.
