Default Difference between 6600Le an 6600GT

i just ordered a comp with a 6600GT in it, now what i dont understand is that the 6600GT was reccomended as a better card but only has 128mb of ram, where as the 6600LE has 256 ram, does that not make the LE a better card cause i can handel more stuff?

And also will the 6600GT be able to handel counter strike sourcea nd age of empires 3 well?

thanks for answering both questions.

The LE has a lower clock speed, not as many pipes, etc. RAM alone doesn't make a card good or bad: think of it this way; would you rather have the dual core system with a killer video card and 512MB of RAM or a Sempron with integrated video and 1GB of RAM?

Integrated, as a system with only 512 is really choppy in games above med. settings. lol.

Yeah, the 6800le isn't a very good card. Memory means nothing when the card can't use it all.
