diff b/w modular & non modular power supplies?

Can anyone explain to me what the diff b/w modular and non modular power supplies is?

One has removable cords and one does not...unless there is something else...

Modular power supplies have all the accessory cables, and more, like non-modular PSUs, but the non-essential cables are detachable. That's beneficial for two things: One, it means more options when it comes to what you need to plug in, and secondly it allows for much better cable management, which in turn reduces heat within the case and increases air flow.

Alot of people think that modular power supplies cause all these problems and are overpriced. But thats not the case with MOST of the modular PSUs I've come across.

there is the one con of resistance with a Modular PSU, but if you don't cheap out on it, you probably won't have a Resistance issue

imo modular is worth it
the resistance really isn't a factor for most modular psu's
