Default DFI vs Gigabyte

Hello, I'm here again, to ask your expertise, recently I conferred with you folks when putting together a component list for my high end build.

Recently, I was talking with a friend of mine on some of his recommendations, more specifically, the motherboard. He suggested I go with a Gigabyte motherboard in place of a DFI.

I wanted to ask your opinions, on which would be a better choice for my high end build, detailed here:
http://www.techist.com/showthread.php?threadid=98708

It is here that I ask your opinion, considering my build, overclocking, and general performance/reliability, specifically in the realm of gaming, which of these motherboards would you suggest:

the DFI S939 LanParty UT nF4 SLi-DR Venus

http://us.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_prod...YPE=LP&SITE=US

VS. (what I assume is the high-end Gigabyte SLI motherboard, feel free to correct)

the Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-SLI

http://www.giga-byte.com/Products/Mo...ProductID=1867

Keep in mind, if it has any bearing on your opinion, that I can get the Venus new almost as easily as the Gigabyte, and money is no object.

I have to get some rest now, feel free to discuss it amongst yourselves though (not that my newbie input would be all that helpful), hopefully there will be a fair amount of input when I awake.

I was a first time builder, I went with a DFI expert and I love it. I had a great time putting it together.

DFI all the way. It's got some crazy overclocking options that will not disappoint you.
