yea Abit's Max boards are supposed to be cream of the crop. Have you seen their x48 board yet? Monster heatsinks on it. I'll probably sit on Abit's x38 for awhile.

yeah thats what i thought too.. oh well its still a sweet board everything about it is awesome. never failed plenty of bells and whistles. no i haven't seen their new x48 board, it'll probably be a sweet board. DFI and abit are my favorites for mobo's.

That DFI is such a good board. If you want to spend a little less then think about the MSI P35 Neo-2 FR. Apparently it can do 500+ FSB.

Yeah I hear ya on the AW9D-Max

Highest I ever got mine to boot at was 420fsb which gave me a max clock on my e6600 of 3.78ghz

Any higher than that and it just wouldn't post.

Its an amazing, gorgeous looking board, ill probly hold onto it for a little while longer. Maybe upgrade to a e8400 and an x48 for my bday in July
