Default Desktop: Crysis in High Settings

My friend needs a desktop that can play at least all the games in high settings with no lag.

First of all...budget? Second...for tower only? Or including monitor, mouse, etc?

He wants to know how much will it cost then he will know how much he wants to spend. For everything he needs to play.

It's going to cost rough estimate of about $1000-1300. But really, he should give us a budget, so we can work around something.

Case - Cooler Master 690 or his choice...
Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 OEM
Motherboard - DFI Lanparty DK P35-T2RS
Memory - 2 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracers DDR2-800
Graphics cards - EVGA 8800GTS 512
Power supply - Corsair 550VX
Hard drive - Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 320GB
Optical drive - Samsung 20X SATA DVD Burner
Heatsink - Xigmatek HDT-S1283 w/ Arctic Cooling MX-2
Monitor - BenQ FP202W V3 20" 5ms
OS - Vista Home Premium 32bit OEM

That list comes to $1,321.88 before shipping. No keyboard, mouse, and speakers. Unless he needs those, I assumed he can use his current.

Why not TRUE? No SLI?

I don't know what he exactly wants. You should of mentioned before.

I picked the Xigmatek because it's close to the TRUE's performance at half the price. And it already has a fan. He can pick the TRUE if he wants.

If he wants SLI, then I would suggest the EVGA 750i FTW.

also sli on a 20" doesn't make a lot of sense. if he wants sli and wants it to be useful then a budget increase would be in order and a larger monitor/more powerful cards would be in order as well.
