hey If someone gave me the computer I would use it. BUt I would never py like 6 grand for it.

Dell is awesome for gaming.

My first gaming Dell had:

Pentium 4 1.4Ghz
512MB RAM
nVidia GeForce2

Yeah, it was a beast.

IIRC it was $9980 but the screen alone was ~$3000.

And wouldn't a AMD cpu been better for a gaming computer. Dell was useing Amd a little by then, weren't they?

No only Intel. However, now that they bought Alienware, you'd think they would use AMD but i guess they can't learn.

to my knowledge Dell are only using Opteron's in their servers. to round this topic off: Dell are the scum of the earth and make their money through proprietary products and overcharging the consumer

ECC Registered RAM? I dunno, I'd rather go with 4gb of non-ECC unbuffered.
