Default Defference between 2.5 and 2.0 latency on RAM?

CORSAIR value select has 2.5 cas latency, while this other brand has 2.0 and is only 10$ more, is it worth it?

What is the difference? I guess what I'm asking is what does the cas latency mean? I've seen it around, but there doesn't seem to be much variation. Thanks.

not especially. It means that you'll have tighter timings as you overclock... but you will NOT notice a difference in speed between 2.0 cas and 3.0 cas latency.
