hm... it depends on what you want I guess... but the over performance of the 7200.10 is best.. from what i see from the charts. Here's the charts..

no, i meant white papers as in what makes them faster? i know its faster but why?

their new perpendicular recording technology...don't know much about it but we get discount my dad works at seagate but primarily with cell phones

? I thought the 7200.9 had perpendicular recording too....

Oops.. geez you guys respond fast.... lol. Yes, the 7200.9's is slower than the 7200.10's... I think there is a BIG difference in performance..
in real world there is no "big difference in performance" between models if you were comparing a 7200.5 to a 7200.10 then there would be
