wouldnt an under powered PSU cause random and perhaps frequent crashes if you had a powerful card such as the 8800GT?

yes, this is why THOU SHALL NOT SKIMP ON PSU's as says the techie's bible.

many, many computer errors are due to an underpowered PSU.

@Jonny_uk = where would you recommend a guide about amps on the 12v rails im still a little confused about it all i know so far is that the higher amps the better i've heard talk of the TF having a guide
