God, please tell me they are staying with the 240Pin? It would be incredibly annoying if they changed the pins from DDR2.

Yup it needs a new chipset and they've up'd the pins so it requires a new mobo..

I believe they are still 240pin, but the notch location is different, than DDR2.

DDR3 will require a different memory controller, so there's no use making it pin compatible.
