Unhappy ddr3 problem help

I got the ocz tri channel 6gb memory but when I got into windows it shows only 2gb when I go into bios it shows me 6gb what could be the problem? I'm running window vista ultimate

Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows?

What board do you have? I've heard of some members having to move memory around on x58 boards because of the dimm setup. Try switching slots.

i installed 64bit vista shows 6gigs now!
