If you give us a little bit more information then some of us here might be able to suggest you a build. Are you looking to get just the main core components for $1500 (eg mobo, cpu, ram, video card) or do you also need a monitor, hard drive, etc?

i need all the main core components. No monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse

Intel Core 2 E6600 ~ 320
Gigabyte DS3 ~150
2 Gig of OCZ Platinum DDR@ 800 ~ 280
WD Caviar SE16 250 GB ~ 70
EVGA 7900GTO ~ 250
Antec Truepower 550watt ~ 80
Coolermaster Centerion (sp?) 5 ~ 60
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 ~ 80

if i did my math correctly it should be about $1300
you can either keep the left over money or you can upgrade your mobo or something

I like what fade said. He just forgot about the cdrom drive.

Also is this your first build? if it is you will need a OS.

That is a good suggestion, that is basically my setup: https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersio...stNumber=4192448&WishListTitle=Intel+Computer

The problem though is that the Gigabyte DS3's mobo has RAM compatibility issues. You have to have 1.8V RAM and then go to BIOS to up the voltage, that is why I have two RAM's on my list. I plan to return 1.8V after I up the voltage.

What is equivalent to a core 2 duo 2.4 ghz in pentium and in amd? Also this will be able to run every new game correct?
