you wouldn't play 2 games at the same time i meant if you might play across both screens..well if are going sli a larger screen with a higher res would reep the most benefits from sli...

Better safe than sorry...Especially for me.. I use a heck of alot of mods and overclock alot. I will probably max overclock the two 9800GX2 SLI and my CPU..

Other note.. as far as the 9800GX2 goes..: Everything on Very High on Crysis runs at: 25 FPS Two cards in SLI runs at 41 FPS

I don't pay my power bill.. lol

One of the best monitors to get: SAMSUNG 226BW Black 22" 2 ms (GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1(DC 3000:1)

who pays for it? ur parents?

just get a 22'' or a 24'' and add a smaller one later if you feel the need

k

some info i found while googling

Q6600 x9
Q6700 x10
QX9770 unlocked

well obviously if u can pay for a qx9770 go for it, with that unclocked multi it would oc like a champ...if u are going to upgrade ur cpu in less then a year then go for an e8400 if not then i would still go with a q6600 or q6700,,or if u can afford the qx9770.

umm all u said is the q6700 would handle ur 9 series card better then a q6600 which when a q6600 is oced to 3.6 there is no card(s) that would be bottlenecked by it, well maybe 2 9800gx2's but he is not getting 2 of them is he...

i wont
im gonna go with the Q6600 need to save money

what kind of ram should i get?

I said I recommend the Q6700 for him because it overclocks with 10x multiplier and it will drop in price a whole lot come april which will make it even more cheap and it is already not that much more than a Q6600. I guess the Q6600 is good enough for his setup and I guess it will be ultimately cheaper.

I'm assuming ur using ddr2 (its the standard) ah 2gb crucial ballistix (timings of cl4-4-4-12) or g.skill...if u have a 64bit os u could get 4gb but its not needed at the moment,2gb is more then enough.

Do I need to worry if this doesnt have a height adjustment?
