q6700 has a 10x Multiplier, I can see him hitting 4.0ghz, because some of our members have done it with a q6600, but they don't keep it that way for daily usage though
 
and you won't need a new psu, unless the one you have can't handle a q6700 anyway. You will be fine if you have a 520hx or 610w, or whatever we suggested
 
Meh, buying anything the minute they come out is pretty much a waste of money. The parts he has selected will make for an excellent computer that will last him a solid couple of years.
 
I am thinking of getting a new laptop. Pick one of the following:
1. Buy a desktop with water cooling
2. Buy a desktop with water cooling + a laptop
3. Buy a desktop without water cooling + a laptop
4. Buy a desktop without water cooling

Can I have 2 OS in my laptop (Mac & Windows)? Will it cause any problems?

Should I buy the parts before or after moving?

I can't stand them... that's just my opinion though.

I wouldn't recommend using the laptop for gaming so get a cheap one... and for the desktop I would advise you not to get watercooling.. you will find you can do alot more than you think you can without it..

The only reason I could think of for needing a laptop would be for school and travel.. Other than that I don't see the need for one.
