Default custom built computer parts list help

well im gonna be getting a custom gaming rig and i was wondering if someone can make me a list and my budget is 1grand this is without the monitor keyboard and mouse.

Core2Duo is better than any amd processor out.

Right now amd isnt really a real smart choice for a rig costing around a grand.

well it was gonna be 1500 ok the budget is 1500 without monitor keyboard and mouse

If the guy is a die hard AMD man. That's his choice not mine. Just asked a question. His money. If he wanted an AMD I would inform him that Intel is on top at the moment.

Intel is the smart choice right now. An I'm glad to see you budget go up!
I'm shure a 6300 or 6400 is in order.

Heres what I would do with 1500.

Antec Nine Hundred Case
eVGA 8800GTX
2x1GB G.Skill DDR2-800 NR Green model
320GB Seagate 7200.10 HD
580w Hiper PSU
20x Lite-on DVD/CD combo
Asus P5B-E
E6300

It all came to $1419 and if your interested or want to see the links just tell me. I was lazy today.

Nice list there Sora... What bout maybe a 6400, It's what 40$ more. Don't you think it would be worth it in the long run? Either way the 6300 is great!
I understand you run one as well?
