Default Custom Build Desktop - SSD?

Hey guys. I just purchased my parts for second custom desktop I am building. I talked to a friend and he recommended that I get a SSD drive to use for my boot drive so Windows 7 will load faster? Will this work with the parts I bought? What do you recommend for a SSD?

Here are the links to my parts:

What do you plan to do with this PC?
You have some inconsistencies which just don't add up. A 3770 (Non OC CPU) in a Z77 board (OCable board). Good CPU with weak GPU.

To answer your question, depends on how much you want to spend.

My vote is for Corsair Neutron GTX, Corsair Force GT, or Samsung 830/840pro.

Hmm. What would you recommend for a GPU then? I plan on doing a lot of Photoshop, video editing, photography, email, and some gaming.

Thanks

Really depends on your budget. I would try to get at least the 660 for that some gaming and make it a more reliable brand like eVGA or Asus. The extra horsepower does help in Photoshop too. My 580 helps a lot when I'm touching stuff up and makes everything real snippy.

I would keep everything you have currently besides change the RAM. You really don't need 2400 RAM. Anything over 1600 isn't noticed and beyond that is a waste of money.

You can save on cost by swapping the Z77 board out to an H77 or B75. There isn't a reason to have the Z77 when you wont be overclocking due to not having a K processor.
You will also need a PSU too.
Either of these will do fine:
