TBH a few months ago Ballistix were great because the 5300s were so cheap, and could be overclocked so much. However, they tend to die after 8-10 months and with ram prices the way they are now I would switch to something else as I have. (OCZ 8500 SLI)

not to mention the reports recently of the newer chips not clocking as well.

well thats a darned good deal. Just try not to put more than about 2.1v through them as that seems to be the tipping point as far as reliability is concerned.

Good choice. So much good ram out there w/ micron ic's. Should do 1150mhz all day.

NVM i see your only using ddr?

I've got the Reapers and they're working great. Plus they look cool with the big beefy hetasink pipes sticking out the top.
