Crossfire Question with X1950XT

nope.. no dx10 on xp.. the 1950 should do you just fine until you plan on playing something current

everytime i plan a build it goes over budget but then i think.. lag or light wallet.. i rather have a lighter wallet hands down
i wouldnt spend anymore money on x1950XT's thou. stick with what you got and save for next upgrades (3870 & Vista)

depends how badly you need this multi screen.

You don't need the dongle. Your card and board should both support freestanding Crossfire. I could be wrong, but I doubt it on this one.

Well, we will see..... all depends on budget, availability of sooper cheap X1950XTX's, and monitor setup.... luckily, the monthly budget just got a bunch of bills knocked off of it, so I can get some savings going... who knows... I might be folding again by the end of the year!!

Basically yes you will need any X19xx series that is crossfire compatible. Try and find an X1950XT Crossfire edition or even an X1900 or 1950XTX as the master card.
