Default crossfire / 3 monitors

Hello. I have 2 hd 4870's in crossfire with 2 monitors. My question is... to run 3 monitors, could I leave them in crossfire and use 2 ports on the main card and 1 port on the second card or would I have to remove the crossfire to have 3 monitors running? Thanks.

I'm fairly certain that you can have 3 monitors with crossfire.

Thanks. To run games over 3 monitors, would I need something like matrox triplehead2go or something? Looking over google, this seems like what I would need, the best way to do it. Crossfire 2 cards, then connect the triplehead2go to 1 port on the main card, then plug the 3 monitors into the triplehead2go module.

Looks like it does, but it looks like triplehead2go will be better. On a side note, can anyone recommend a desk for 3 monitors, I can't find a good one.

I don't care about brands, just looking for one that will fit. All my monitors will be 22in.
