One question, would any of these upgrades be worth it?
640MB graphics card ($80 more)
another 2GB of RAM ($80 more)
2x250GB HDD instead of 1x320 ($60 more)

For the size of your screen skip the 640mb. If you decide you want to go bigger on teh video card your money would be better spent on a gtx, problme is that would require a bigger PSU.

4 gigs of RAM would be useless since XP only recognizes 3gigs. Also, gaming wise 2gigs is all you will need at this point in time.

Personally I like the idea of 2x250, but that is my personal preference to use one for backing up everything important I hae stored on my primary. Honestly the single 320 is fine.

Why do you prefer those?
The G-card is cheaper, so I'll probably go for that one.
The RAM, though, is $40 more, what's $40 better about it?

also what about this PSU instead? It's over $20 cheaper
Cooler Master RP-500-PCAR eXtreme Power 500W ATX12V Power Supply $42.40

edit: so nobody thinks that the 640MB of graphics memory will help for the pricepoint?

or you could get this one the 25.00$ rebate is a steal. 50 more watts or 2 dollars more and it has a dual 12v rail too idk but this one seems like its got more bang for the buck.
