I would like any advice on my build. Whether it be get a cheaper GPU and wait for the DX10 cards. Or go with a regular 7200 RPM HD. Or anything else for that matter. Thanks

step down on a gig of ram and step up on ur gpu try a 7900gt or 7900gto or even a 7950gt all descent cards and ul get em cheap now because of the new 8800

okay, dont step down on the ram. 2gb is becoming a lot more common and more programs are using it now. If you can afford it the e6600 would be nice, but you will still be amazed by the 6400.

May I ask why you are upgrading? because your current rig in your sig looks like a good competitor still.

Also, are you sure you only want a 80gb hdd? that is pretty small, If I were you I would at least look at a 160gig if not bigger. And you should be able to find a same version of the hard drive in a 16mb cache for only a couple bucks more.

I'll definitely look into a bigger harddrive. I think you guys are right.
I'm upgrading because I've heard many good things about core 2 duos and wanted to give it a shot myself.
I've decided to keep the 2G. And I'm still undecided on the e6600 or the e6400.
