in: Left 4 dead, and Far cry 2 the phenom 2 is roughly 20% faster than the athlon 2.

in Crysis warhead 15% and in fallout 3 only 10%

is 10-20% performance difference worth that $80 dollar? (30% price difference)

wow thanks guys that was more info then i thought i'd get. lol

that site is also pretty useful. I think i'm going for the 955 then. Atleast it will pay off in the future

The 955 (C3) can get 3.8GHz easily just by increasing the multiplier. With an aftermarket cooler, 4.0 or more with ~1.5V
