Default CPU Reccomendation

Need a cpu reccomendation, must be intel socket 775. Quad core aswell, 250 budget.

Will use for general computing and gameing (Ok,lots of gameing )

I have crap ram and am not one thats into overclocking, so i want it to be good as stock.

Hit me up reccomendations.

a q9450 should be in your price range. i dont know euro to usd conversion.

Thanks Vernon and Phil. If sometime in the future i do have the spare money to get good ram and a good cooler, i might try overclocking - maybe. Them two processors good overclockers or not ? Just interested.

yes i think some one here hit like 3.7ghz with it. cant remember who it was.
