Default CPU Question

Which would be the better processor between the two? Any information would be much welcomed.

if im looking at this correctly... the x2 would be better because it has a higher clock speed... but in reality, you cant judge a processor by its speed... but i really dont see any other differences. they both have 32/64 bit capabilities, they're both dual core, they're both very nice AMD processors...

The 4400+ is faster. The Opteron is higher quality and may be able to get higher clock speeds if you overclock.

In short, if u OC then choose the Opteron. On the other hand, if the rig is for gaming without much OC then go for the 4400+. I personally would go for the 4400+.
