I think the res might be a waste with that monitor but the CPU should be fine, especially if you get a good HSF you can overclock very high.

Bottleneck is like having a good piece of hardware, in this case the 8800Gtx, having its potential limited by a mediocre piece of hardware, like a Pentium 4.

Someone on another website had SLI 8800GTX and a P4 3.2ghz.

He said his "next upgrade" wasn't a new CPU but dominator ram..we laughed
