CPU/Graphix card suggestions

So, with a budget of 300 dollars im looking to find the best combo of vid card and CPU.

i was thinkin a 7900GS and Intel 4400 but im not sure if thats the best bang for the buck.

are you trying to upgrade with what you have? Cause you have a socket A mobo, so it's no use trying to upgrade it... what socket are you looking for?

im gonna be gettin the 4300..so ill need a descent mobo for moderate overclocking.

For high overclocks, you should go for the 965P chipset. Such as the Gigabyte 965P-DS3, or ASUS P5B Deluxe. But the new 650i, chipsets aren't bad. They get high overclocks, too. And for that, I suggest the MSI P6N Plat or SLI-FI. You do know, that you will, also have to get DDR2 ram, right?
