Default cpu cooler for q6600?

I am planning on buying a q6600 processor. I will not be overclocking it. Will I be just fine with the stock heatsink or should I buy anouther. If I buy anouther, which one would you recommend? I like small size and quietness.

if you aren't overclocking i don't see a problem with the stock heatsink. why spend more money. the stock heatsink only fails miserably at the Slightest overclock.

Though it isn't the quietest thing in the world.

Yeah the stock will be fine. Though as Akubane mentioned you can find a quieter one.

I agree, stock is okay, but if you want to overclock I would suggest a TRUE or Tuniq. Btw, you spelt "another" wrong.

if your NOT planning on overclocking your cpu then the stock cooler is fine. Don't try and oc it on stock though.

get an AF7 honestly, its good if you even want to try a basic OC to 3.0ghz (we'll convince you eventually ) because honestly I've seen pretty high temperatures with a Stock Intel Cooler
