If I buy a new motherboard for my CPU that is my in DELL computer will it work? I don't really understand the whole OEM thing.

OEM also means you may not get the I/O shield in the back for your cables. This isn't a huge problem but I would find it annoying.

What cables are included in the box? It seems that if they don't come with the OEM they aren't necessary.

What usually comes along with the motherboard in a retail box is, manual, mobo drivers and software, SATA cables, IDE cables, FDD cables, and a I/O shield panel.

The cables are not necessary really as you can get them single.

Open box mobos are really chieap if its a good one.

So I can easily move the CPU to a different motherboard of the same chipset and have no problems?
