I never cut anything on the fans, but they did wack me pretty good in my old build so when the CompUSA by my house was going out of business I picked up some fan grills and AS5 for 70% off.
The cables on the PSU fit better in this case than the last since there is more room to maneuver and I have less fans to plug in.
The case is excellent, heavy metal door on the front and the lights are not too bright and obnoxious. I replaced the stock fans with two ThermalTake fans in the rear and an Apsire in the front.
I wish they had an aftermarket cooler for the 8800. Reading some forums my best bet for now is to remove stock thermal paste and replace with AS5. Anyone have other ideas?
When I turn around my Zalman I'll post some final pics.
