Wow that 220 CFM fan look's nice. I'd love to try it. I've never been to worried bout loudness. I'd rather have a cool running pc.

Yeah I bet they are loud. But still would be cool to give'em a try! I mean if you really had cooling problem's, An wanted a cheaper way of helping cool, This could work.

yes it is.

sound levels are logarithmic. 33dba is actually 10^12 times louder than 21dba

I have 3 120mm 30dba fan's in my computer running, they are quiet.

The only time I can even notice them is in a completely quiet room, which they aren't annoying in the least, I just can hear them.

Unless you wan't a completely silent computer or 3dba more is an incredible difference 33dba should be plenty quiet for just about anyone except someone who wants a silent PC.

70 Busy traffic at 5 m (16 ft)
60 Office or restaurant inside
50 Quiet restaurant inside
40 Residential area at night
30 Theatre, no talking
20 Whispering
10 Human breathing at 3 m (10 ft)
0 Threshold of human hearing (with healthy ears); sound of a mosquito flying 3 m (10 ft) away
