Newegg deactivated it! Damnit. I had my finger on the button. When it comes back in, i think i'm going to jump on it, you get a 150 dollar combo discount when bought with a vanilla 285. Gonna do 1 combo and 2 more 285s :)

The 285's use 185w. 185wx3 = 555W + 130W (cpu) = 685W

Those were just sums mainly for my benefit but thought I would share. yeah you will need a 1kw psu + an extra 180W overhead for one of your 260's as physx ;)

A dedicated physx card isnt really neccesary with so much gpu power...still debating whether i wanna throw the spare 8800GT im gonna have into my system as a physx card.

Well i was originally, and still may, looking at the hx1000 corsair. The main issue is that my 750 only has 4 pci-e connections. I'm probably pushing it harder than it really should be pushed already.
2 pumps, 10 fans, overclocked i7, 2 260s, 1 8800gt.

The coolermaster one i was looking at is actually higher wattage and much more expensive. It was 349 before they deactivated it. But if you bought it with an evga gtx285 the bundle had a 149 dollar discount. From what i was reading the different levels of 80+ are for how high it can get. From reading up on it, it has if i recall 89% effenciency up to 50% load and 87% past that. Max load is something like 1360 watts :)
