Conroe Availability.

Hey i was wondering if there is going to be a shortage of conroes and if your going to have to wait to get one. also will we be able to buy tomorrow?

Chances are that most of the conroe is gonna be sold out in within in the first hour or two. Because there gonna be sending i think over 80% of conroes to prebuilt companys mainly dell.

By August 7th i think everyone could get a core 2 duo processor. i think that is the date where all the shops will get the stock of c2d cpus.

would this board work with a conroe?

because in one of the reviews it said that it wont workwith the core 2 duo, and newegg made amistake.

Just wait one day. You can make it. There should be plent of boards to go around. Just try and be the first to order one.

There shouldn't be any shortage of Conroes. Core 2 Duo's will only take up 25% of Intel's shipment, but that's more than AMD's whole Athlon 64 line.
