Nah, 2.93Ghz was deemed "fast enough." But like AnthraX said, there will probably be a 3.33Ghz version or something later on.

ive heard people talk about the chips being released to some companies in june, is this correct? and if so... what types of companies will be getting them?

Im looking to buy my next comp from cyberpower. I need it before the July 23 release date, but if they would have the conroe in by late June that would be fine.

Basically, i need to order my computer by the first week in July, im almost positive ill be getting it through cyberpower, should i wait, or would it be just as well for me to order it now?

Reviewers got some chips, and they will start SHIPPING to the retailers that will eventually sell them. Nothing about builders. Sadly, I don't think you'll be making your deadline.
