putting the cpu in isnt hard at all.. all you do is drop it in the right way and lock it in...

I merged the threads.

Enough with the multiple threads. If it keeps up I will treat them as spam.

Barebones means its got just bare essentials and not all the peices... They'll put it together, at a cost though.

Some of the kits don't have gpus, some dn;'t have psus.

You need to read carefully and buy all the other parts. You'll then have to assemble it, and hope it boots.

so if I buy this kit, what else will I need?

Also if it's a newer system, do you think I'd still be able to an IDE HD?

Canada Computers - Desktop PCs > Ready-to-Go PCs : Visionary I5060 - AMD Athlon 64 X2 240, ATI RADEON X2100 Graphics, 2GB DDR2 800, 320GB HDD, DVD▒R/RW Writer.

Do you think this computer is worth the price? And how many HD do you think could fit inside?

Also would I be able to use a HD cooler in that case patonb? You've been such a great help, like my guru

I'm no guru... Why would you want a hd cooler??

Probably holds 3 drives.
Is it worth 300? Barely.. but it doesn't have the OS.. The laptop in your sig is better..
You need a bigger budget, and it might be a waste to buy crappier stuff, then just hold off till you get more cash.

The cpu is the good part actually. low end psu, the onboards not very good.

As a non-gaming computer, that some one does basic office, web, watch videos its fine, but as youre looking for more, its not.
