lol ive been a AMD user for 2 years now " i think" . When i purchased the FX53 it was around $900.
I can remeber all the negetive posts about intel most of it true.
The best P4 extreme was $1100 .I chose to go with AMD because of the performance Yes it was also cheaper at $900.00 "duh". frame for frame the AMD was better.
Yes the AMD's are STILL good today but dollar for dollar Conroe is better . No bias no fanboy ego's just plain common sense .Ive pre-orderd the E6700 because frankly its a hands down BETTER processor at this time and ALOT CHEAPER. Even if the top AM2 CPU was cheaper than the E6700 i still would buy Conroe because clock for clock its better .
AMD will fine tune the OB memory controller along with a die shrink then we will see a spectacular CPU that just may topple the Conroe its a matter of time . '
Whats irritating me at thi point is i dont have it yet AND IM TIRED OF WAITING
So keep the Conroe praise going
