I was looking over and thinking about buying this board
- XFX nForce 780i 3-Way SLI Intel Motherboard
MB-N780-ISH9

And I've been reading a lot of sites talk about having to have the 8800gtx models for 3-way sli.. Would the 8800gt's run in dual sli?

Also, the board is Core 2 quad compatible, is that for an X3220 2.4g quad core chip as well? I know it's 775 like the 6k series chips and all, but should I worry about a compatability issue?

The video card was this one.. But if in the longrun, when I decide to upgrade to sli, I won't be able to use 8800 gt models, so should I start looking at the gtx models and buy one of those power houses until I decide to go sli?
-XFX GeForce 8800 GT 512MB DDR3 XXX 670mhz/1.95ghz

I would personally just go with one 8800gt and when you do decide to upgrade your gpu, instead of getting another and buying a bigger powersupply, not to mention the motherboard.. you could just sell your 8800gt and buy the bigger better 9800xtx or whatever they decide to call it. SLi imo is only for people who upgrade very VERY frequently and have the dough to do so.
