Alright so here is a comparison between the P35-DS3R and the P35-DS3L.
I'm buying either board soon but I just wanted to make a comparison to what's so different of the two.
There might be a few differences between the two, but it's only a slight differ.
Here are a few questions I'm trying to find an answer for:
What I'm wondering is why do people choose the P35-DS3R over the P35-DS3L?
What are these and what does it mean?
Onboard USB for P35-DS3R: 2 x headers support 4 x USB 2.0 ports
Onboard USB for P35-DS3L: 8 x USB 2.0
(Still a bit confused seeing that the DS3L only has 4 USB 2.0 in the rear I/O Panel)
Also, what is the difference between these two features?
Features for P35-DS3R: Ultra Durable 2, Ultra Cooling
Features for P35-DS3L: Ultra Durable (All-Solid Capacitor Design)
What does JBOD mean in the RAID part of the comparison?
And seeing that the DS3L is supporting only DDR2 1066, can I use DDR2 800 on that board?
