Comparing cpu's under $100

I'd take the Allendale with or without overclocking.

But I'd definitely overclock it.
 
I second that Allendale. It's dual core, and it's so much better than a P4, even at stock speeds.
 
No you don't combine speed like that. It's just two cores each running at 1.8GHz....

It's also not just because it's dual core. Even though it has a lower stock speed, I believe they can do more instructions per clock, than a P4 at 3.2GHz, making them more efficient. I also believe they consume less power than the P4, as well. This E2160, can overclock really well too.
 
Ok so this topic has now got me thinking about building a very inexpensive yet decent build. Any comments are appreciated. Use would be for basic gaming and web development. Some graphic design and video processing. Nothing serious. But would like to overclock.

Graphics Card - Please suggest one. Don't want any overkill, want best bang for the buck. Will be used with a 17 or 19 inch monitor. Anything around $100 or less if possible.
