Send a message via MSN to lancec2c30

your motherboard says it only supports ram up to 667mhz. But you bought 800mhz ram. You could have saved money if you just bought 667mhz ram.

XP Pro | Vista Home Premium | Linux Ubuntu 7.10
s939 X2 3800 Toledo @ 2.6ghz | evga 7900gs | 320gig + 80gig wd | 1gb Ram | Abit KN8 SLI
3.1ghz achieved.
70K F@H member..............still waiting for the "iRACK"

Norcent will not be forgotten.

Support for DDR2 800, DDR2 667, or DDR2 533 MHz DIMMs says on the intel website is that not 800mhz???

p.s. even in the websites specifications of the board they put supports 800 bit strange they missed that off of the name

p.p.s. When i looked up my ram there were two versions with the only apparent difference being that one was 5-5-5-12 and the other 4-4-4-12 EPP is worth the extra £5 to get the one with EPP??? I'm not planning on ocing but I may in the future
