It looks like this 2600xt is the best that I can afford (must be <$100)

Newegg.com - GECUBE GC-XHD2600XTG4-D3 Radeon HD 2600XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

it has 256 bit interface, gddr4! and 256mb memory.

It doesn't say anything about the 2600xt's stream processors or anything important, so could anyone tell me if this is as good as i can get for the price?
if not PLEASE suggest something better.

only problem is that is the rebate, what if it doesn't come in, you still have to consider that, but the 8600gt does out perform the hd2600xt by a good bit

^tbh I'm still a bit skeptical with just random screens. I can give you screens where my 3850 is doing 40fps in all very high settings on Crysis...but it doesn't mean much. Also multiplayer maps have less detail and are optimized for having tons of poeple on the screen at once.

That's why before when I showed my FPS I recorded a whole video
