What keyboard you using? G5- for fantasy games, MMORPGs, Turn-based
Saitek- FPS Gaming

If you just play WoW or something and play more shooters go with Saitek
G5 is AWESOME for MMOs but has a clunky feel, not good for fast-pased shooters.

Well, Intel is better for video editing than AMD, aren't I right? And that's the only burner I found that supports Lightscribe, which is needed.

You'd be wrong. AMD X2 owns all in video editing.

Also, for video editing, that video card isn't really the best. If he wants to pursue a career, though, I'd recommend the Quaddro series is he wants to shed a couple thousand more dollars, they are the best for that kind of thing. And he'll probably want 4+ Gb's of RAM for video editing.

I think the Quaddro is out of the question, at this point. My friend is still in High School, he isn't going to be doing any huge projects. We are also trying to keep it under 1300 dollars. Now I agree, 4+ GBs of ram and a Quaddro would make up the ideal video editing machine but this is very amature. I really should of included all this information in my first post.

Noobzor - Good thinking. We forgot all about the keyboard.

Sprooty - Think I can get away with a X2 3800? That is going to make it a lot more money. Which motherboard would you recommend then? Abit? Asus? There will be no overclocking.
