Default Check my build pls

I'm getting ready to order some parts for my friends video editing machine and I'm looking for some quick imput. Mainly the mobo/cpu combo and the psu. Thx.

Psu is great.
I prefer amd to intel, but that's just me. If you insist on going with an intel though, go right ahead.
You could go for a cheaper dvd burner, though.

Well, Intel is better for video editing than AMD, aren't I right? And that's the only burner I found that supports Lightscribe, which is needed.

Oh okay. I don't know much about video editing, but I would think he wouldn't need a 6800GS if all he's going to do is video edit and such

actually i think the AMD X2's are better at video editing than the intel ones

If hes going to game you will want to go AMD, Intel just doesn't cut it.

it'll be 70/30, editing/gaming. I've got an Intel proc on my laptop and I can play games just fine.

I agree with running on the AMD bit. I think a X2 AMD would suit you better than a PD.
