Yeah I did clock the **** out of my 8800gs though, it was close to a 8800gt performance at standard resolutions, otherwise at higher the 8800gt memory came into play a bit more. i reckon i might just pick up a 4830 and call it a day because i don't think i'll be gaming much at all anymore but i don't run to run on board either.
