Hey, I built my PC with advice from here about 2 years ago now. The specs are as followed.
Intel e6320 @ 3.2ghz (cooled with an AF7)
Asus P5N-E sli
Crucial 2 gb ram
320gb hard drive
Nvidia 8800gts 320mb
500w coolermaster igreen psu.
2 years on, this is relatively poor. I am going to university very soon so will be quite poor for the next 3 years. So I have decided this might be a good time to pimp my PC as it will need to last for 3 years. My budget is quite small tbh, £250 (edit: ok I will stretch to £300) and I want to get the most bang for my buck. Please help as I am out of touch with the current technology.

Another edit: With a bit of my own research, ive come up with an initial idea.
CPU: q6700
GFX: Asus gtx 260
Ram: 4gb crucial ballistix.
Dead on £300.
