I start to wonder if any one this forum besides b1gapl actually reads the posts in the threads or just posts aimlessly.

i think the 7900gs is quite overclockable... its main competition is the x1950pro but the pro has a slight edge... nothing a little oc from the 7900gs won't beat (the x1950pro isn't overclockable so dont' so it is )

Motherboard - Biostar ATX AM2
RAM - 2gb of ddr2800 Patriot Extreme
Video Card - evga 7900gs
Hard Drive - 160gb 7200rpm samsung from old pc
Optical Drive - dvd burner from old pc
Power Supply - fortron source 400w
Case - cooler master centurion 5
Speakers - logitech x230(have)
Monitor - 32" westinghouse(have)
Mouse - logitech(have)
Keyboard - logitech(have)
Operating System - winxp(have)
Misc. - link depot hdmi-dvi cable for tv
CPU cooling(OC'ing it) - Artic Freezer 64 pro

New build, exactly $500 before rebates and after shipping. $440 after rebates.

nice build looks like what i'm picking up soon... that or an e6750 build, don't no if i should blow the first couple of paychecks or save it
