Cheap(er) PC for Gaming...

been out of looking for parts for a while and am getting ready to start college. First off, do i really need a laptop for college? I think that a PC would do perfectly fine wouldn't it? I won't be living in dorms so getting it stolen wouldn't be a problem as with most college students.

Anyways, my budget for EVERYTHING will be about $800. It needs to do the basics such as word processing and I would like it to do some moderate gaming (basically all I play is COD4) I do not want/need SLI, would prefer Intel, and 3 gig of ram.
